So, my last wedding this year was in DALLAS TEXAS!!

A HUGE SHOUT OUT to my dear friend and fellow blogger Angelia over at Living, Laughing, Loving for blessing me with the incredible honor of capturing her wedding. 

TEXAS.... what can I say but "LOVE IT!"

Tonight I watched the Final Series Premier of 

Friday Night Lights and it got me thinking... 

Here are the top reasons why I LOVE Texas...

in no particular order:

1) for more highways than anyone could ever need
2) sunshine bursting at the seams
3) sexy southern accents that make me swoon
4) boots

5) for FOOTBALL
6) for old churches full of grace and beauty

7) for killer shopping
8) for warm greetings and big hello's
9) for men who still hold the door for you
10) for spending time with my sister

11) for adventures in going in circles from hwy to hwy wondering where the heck we were and still being able to laugh about it

12) for room service


13)  for view's from our corner suite of the 8th floor 

14) Being asked if we were twins... by lots of people....

15) For AWESOME company!

16) For forever friends...

 17) For a Chili's conveniently located every 6 miles :-)

 18) For remembering childhood innocence and decades of memories...

19) For cheesecake 

20) for having the time of my life with my sister Katie!! I LOVE YOU SIS!!

By far my favorite place to go in the Pacific Northwest.

In 2003, I hiked this waterfall everyday for 2 months straight.

How cool that I live 20 minutes from sights like this?

So cool, that I'm about 99% sure my next

I love pumpkins.

Let this not be confused with pumpkin flavored food.... That I am not so hot about... don't ask...

I just love pumpkins. 

Autumn is my favorite time of year...

I love it's crisp, cold, sunny mornings that seem to revive my soul and awaken my senses.

My adoration for watching the leaves change color into a beautiful tapestry grows stronger every year.

Autumn means: 

Autumn means my favorite holiday.. Thanksgiving.

Autumn makes me long for Leo...

For how much I miss him, and for all the memories I wanted to make as a family with him.

I wanted pictures of him as a newborn inspired by these...

Sigh......

So, we buy Leo a pumpkin, and blow bubbles up to him in Heaven, and write him cards, and pray for him day and night. Nevaeh asks daily when she can go to Heaven to visit him...

Autumn means football, scarves, and preparing for Christmas.

I treasure this time of year as life slows down and my focus shifts from busy schedules to making memories.

Pumpkins are a steadfast memory from the time I was a small child. 

As kids, our parents took us on more trips than I can count to Oak Glen in California. 

Some of my favorite memories are of those treks to the apple orchards during pumpkin season, having pie, and laughing with each other as only our family can do. 

I am so blessed. 

Blessed for countless memories of joy and love and laughter shared with the ones I love most.

And now, I have the privilege of passing on these types of memories with Nevaeh. 

What can be more special than that?
