A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the FABULOUS Tobin Family from K. Tobin Video Productions. We had the BEST time laughing as we attempted to capture classic family portraits and keeping my precious 3 year old content during the shoot. Here are a few FUN shots from the afternoon! When I met Michelle and Randy this past winter, I knew their wedding was going to be FABULOUS! We really had the chance to get to know one another during their engagement session, which they totally ROCKED! Last week, I had the pleasure of capturing their wedding day, and it was even better than I imagined! Michelle and Randy have such a strong bond and their love for one another shines through in everything they do. I am so glad I got to be part of their special day! Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk 2010

This morning I had the chance to participate in the 3rd annual Worldwide Photo Walk with a group of photogs in Downtown Vancouver. Joined by my dear friend Angela from DiamondHeart Photography,  we had a very humorous adventure trekking through downtown looking for awesome locations to shoot. It was a blast, that included some fun shots and lots of giggles. Here are a few shots from this morning!

Let's speak candidly. I LOVE weddings. I mean, I eat, breathe, sleep weddings. I pine, daydream, & re-live weddings. My DVR is full to the brim with every wedding program from "Say Yes to the Dress", to "My Fair Wedding", to "Battle of the Wedding Designers.. and on and on. I memorize the names of designer gowns, and am up to par on the latest and greatest wedding trends from save the date's to reception decor. Needless to say, I'm a bit of a wedding addict. 


Despite all of these obsessions, which, all rolled into one, make for one fun cookie to take with you to a wedding convention, my FAVORITE wedding themed item is BY FAR the final images captured through my lens.... and here is why....

Come be part of a great thing!!

This month marks the one-year anniversary since our son Leo passed away after being born at 30 weeks due to a placental rupture.  The past year has been a rough journey of both sorrow and faith. As we approach this season of remembering, many of you have asked what we were planning to do to remember Leo. After thinking long and hard, and asking other’s their ideas, I have come up with something everyone can participate in to celebrate his life!!

So, if you’d like to participate, here are the details…. I would like to start a Name Memorial for Leo. Find a creative way to write his name and capture it. You can write it in sand, in a letter, on an object, etc. You can incorporate anything you’d like… flowers, balloons, stuffed animals… be creative and have fun with it! The images will be featured on my blogs in a slideshow for everyone to enjoy.
