Celebrating Nevaeh's 3rd Birthday!

Our day celebrating Nevaeh's 3rd birthday was incredible! We started
with an awesome brunch at Goofy's Kitchen. It is an awesome character
breakfast with amazing food! Thank Uncle Casey and Aunt Katie!
After brunch we went to Disney's California Adventure with Aunt Cindy,
Uncle Seth, our bestest friend Mackenzie, and baby Kylie! We had a
blast exploring and riding all the fun rides! Tomorrow we are super
excited to spend another day with them at Disneyland! Grandpa and Nona
sure had fun watching Nevaeh's excitement throughout the day!
I still can't believe my baby is 3 today. We have been through so
much. God has blessed us more than we could ever deserve. Nevaeh has
gotten us through the past 6 months by God's grace. He has blessed us
with our son's face through Nevaeh's beautiful slumber. Nevaeh never
seems to stop amazing us and I know God has blessed us with the most
amazing gift. We are truly blessed with the most amazing daughter ever!

Day 30...

Today we spent our early morning traveling the skies on our way to
Disneyland! Here are a few pictures from the day!

Day 29... and a graduation celebration!

Congratulations Uncle Seth!! We are SO proud of you!!

T-Minus 2 days and counting!!

We have been diligently preparing for our week trip to Disneyland. Which means we had a day filled with laundry, cleaning, and above all packing! Whheewww! I am about 90% done! I am so proud!

Nevaeh got some fun stuff in the mail today from her grandma Kathy who just recently got back from Spain. Nevaeh is IN LOVE with the parasol and monkey she got! Here are a few images to capture the fun she had today!

 

 

 

 

Randomness.....

Today is a day FILLED with randomness... so here I go with sharing what my day was like....

*Got my butt out of bed by 8am so I could make it to yoga by 9am...which means I did NOT have time to have coffee before leaving the house... which is NOT a good start to my day

*Yoga.... what can I say.... I wish I could find a yoga class where talking and laughing were encouraged. Nothing like pointing your rear in the air as you desperately try to mimic the pretzel shape of the instructor WHILE staying serious, and remembering to breathe of course.

*Note to self... I've had 2 kids and therefore can NO LONGER buy pants in the juniors section at Nordstroms... well, unless I want to invest in Brazilian waxing...

*Nap time is never long enough no matter how long Nevaeh sleeps... why is that?

*Just saw a commercial stating that 1 in 4 women mis-read a pregnancy test.... Do you think maybe you shouldn't be fooling around if you can't manage to read a pregnancy test?? Just a "note to self"...

*Really wish I had a magic fairy that did all the laundry for me.... wouldn't that be swell?

*Can't wait for wedding season... I am SO excited for this year! I know it is going to be FABULOUS!

* Ran close to 100 errands today... well actually I drove... I am past my years of running :-)

* Remembered while I was attempting my pretzel of a yoga pose that I used to be a professional Hawaiian Dancer... I should start that up again and ditch this pretzel thing... unless of course we are talking about pretzels from the mall.... a Sour Cream and Onion pretzel would ROCK my world right now...

*I am currently counting the minutes until it is bed time for "mis-thang"Nevaeh.... it is just one of those nights unfortunately...

*Realized I really have to pack for our trip ASAP... only 3 days and counting!! WOOT WOOT!

* I am totally in love with the show Top Gear! I die laughing EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. Between that and The Office, my life is complete...

And to end my randomness, I took some pictures at church tonight... to showcase the new nursery care attendants. Aren't they cute?

Celebrating Nevaeh's birthday a little early...

Today, we celebrated Nevaeh's birthday a little early with her Great-Grandma! "GG" as she has been named by my little one, was more excited then ever to see what GG had in store for her! As always, GG showed up to impress with a HUGE bag full of gifts and cupcakes to boot! Nevaeh loved tearing into the gifts GG brought with big smiles and thank you's! After we went to lunch, we came back and even blew out candles on her cupcake! It was a great day of visiting and celebrating!

A visit with Baby Maya...

In October, I had the pleasure of capturing baby Maya for my good friend Kelly just a few days after she was born. I spent a couple hours photographing Maya's newborn essence just 5 days after she came into this world. It was such a special time for me, as Kelly and I were pregnant at the same time, and our due dates were just a day apart. Kelly walked with me on my journey of loosing Leo, and our friendship was nurtured on a whole other level. I was so pleased & blessed when she gave me the opportunity to photograph Maya; as my bond with this special little darling girl really touched my heart.

Today, Nevaeh and I headed over for another visit, and I, as always, brought my camera. Here are a few images I captured of beautiful Maya. I am so in love with her cheeks and gorgeous blue eyes!! I know you will be too! Enjoy and thanks for reading!
